What are Probiotics?

Probiotics have been called THE LIFE SUPPORTING SUBSTANCES.

In essence it is the belief that the health of a body can be maintained and improved by the correct blend of “friendly bacteria” and other “less-friendly” micro-organisms that permanently reside there.

“Friendly bacteria” are formally known as Lactobacillus Bulgaricus, so called because they were discovered very early last century to be the agent of lactic acid fermentation in Bulgarian yogurt, believed in the region for 5000 years to have numerous nutritional and health benefits.

And it is in Bulgaria that Daflorn Probiotic Honey is produced today, in the clean air of the fertile hills in the Dobrudja region that yield the rich abundance of sunflowers on which the Daflorn Honey bees feed. The pure natural sunflower honey they produce contains in every gram the 10,000,000 live friendly bacteria cells that make Daflorn Honey Probiotic.
